Rawr! Every bit of support matters

it takes a dinosaur to blow the warmth of love,

whisper a lullaby to make souls cherish the joy

of this day, marked with words that resonate

from within the heart, and felt by all the hearts,

beating not synchronized, but still melodious,

unbound and yet adjoined even in distance

like the scales of ‘saur, and thus we must rawr

when she speaks of her hurt, all in there that

never overshadowed her hopeful anecdotes

of life, living and trying out hard to be the one

you are, and thus we must rawr, all rawr now

to give voice to her voice and use that coin

of support which scintillates solicitude when used

.

Many of you must know Rarasaur, the ever wonderful blogger and story-teller. Her lively personality shines through wherever she takes a turn paving the way for blogger interaction.

She is a dinosaur. And she and her husband need our support today when they are confronting  a difficult situation in their life. I hope you would try to support them even in the littlest way possible. Because every bit of support matters. Please visit Rarasaur’s site and her husband, Grayson’s site to give them your kind support. You can make the Donations(Financial/Food) here:  TheQueenCreative.com/thank-you. Also, you can spread the word so that others could also help/support them in some way.

the tree of blogging-

we hold onto each other

leaves, twigs and care

The blogging community is much like a tree and we are the various leaves and twigs and we are branched together by our friendships, communications, genuine care and support for each other.

To all my readers, You matter.

I am linking this post with dVerse Poetics and I have completely transformed my writing space/blog/site, about which you can read in my previous post: Changes. I’d once again like to remind you that you can help Rarasaur and her husband by going to the aforementioned links and by spreading the word. Thank you.

Here comes the NaBloPoMo

Hey guys,

I will be participating in NaBloPoMo in the coming month. It is being managed by a blogging community by the name of YeahWrite and it is going to be a heck of an event. Do join right now because there is still time.

I am also joining up with a “private”(just joking :-D) team, brought together by Rarasaur (if you do not know her, then I would suggest you to visit her blogging space and say hi to her on my behalf), and it has been named Nano Poblano.

All I would have to do is write a post a day and my personal goal as such would be to write a poem a day. I sincerely hope you would support me throughout the month of November.

It has been suggested that the participants link up with the two communities- YeahWrite and BlogHer. I have, of course, linked up with YeahWrite already and here is the badge for that:

And having joined the team Nano Poblano, I get another batch:

I almost forgot to inform that I will be doing a guest blog post on YeahWrite, on 23 November as well. I will be publishing the link to the post on this site, after that

That is all for now. If you want to join, do tell me. I would love to communicate with you in that regard.

Another thing, I was meaning to ask you guys is to share a link to one of your posts, which you would like me to visit, whenever you share your words with me on any of the posts.  I would be glad to visit you. You can either copy and paste the link or use the anchor tag to create a hyperlink. WordPress allows the usage of basic html.

Down the road she went…

down the road she went

with a letter in her hand,

summoning the post master,

she told him of her predicament-

he who was gone to war

had not returned back,

what had appeared was a sheet

smeared with a blood like seal,

she who could not read a single word

plead before the kind gentleman

to tell her what it contained,

 ~

the bespectacled man read carefully

and told her, her son was well,

that was what the letter said

while he faced away from her,

he handed back to her the sheet

and confirmed that her son was fine,

he had reached his final abode,

away, safe from war and hunger,

 ~

she shrieks, cries, wails, screams,

clutching the collar of his shirt,

and befell on her knees,

praying for who was never to return,

he supported her up and

they looked at each other,

waiting for the other one to

break that ominous silence

but it remained all still

while the sun dipped into the sea,

leaving behind a trace of red tinge.

RCC Goals for the Week

I recently joined the Rome Construction Crew which is a group of bloggers aiming to achieve their goals through mutual support and understanding.

As much as I know, the crew members plan out their goals for every week and at the end of the week, they check out if they have been successful in achieving them or not. Even if it is not so, that is what I am going to do. I know I am quite late but still, I would plan out my goals for this week now which are as follows-

1. Writing Goals:- (i) Write short-stories(ranging from 100-1000 words) and he usual poems.

(ii) Work on a book of short-stories, assemble the stories from the hard drive and those published long time before on the blog.

(iii) Try to find more about the freelancing opportunities.

2. Mental-health related goals:- (i)  Think about the future, without any anxiety and try to find out what I am going to do next.

(ii) Try to socialize; contact old acquaintances.

(iii) Try to speak minimum, because I feel frustrated later on if I speak more and try to avoid talkative people.

3. Physical-health related goals:- (i) Try to participate in physical activities.

(ii) Take a short walk every day.

(iii) Try to improve my stamina so that I won’t feel tired all day.

4. Reading goals:- (i) Complete reading 2 more books at least.

(ii) Read the poems by Poe and Sylvia Plath.

That is all. I know they are quite difficult for me, but I have to do something, right? I hope I will be able to accomplish most of these goals.
