lighting hearts with a sweet hope

a reverent night

dance along with soothing breeze

farewell summer days

shed at the end of summers

awakening soul

giggling girls swirling

yukata adorning them

paper fans in hands

gulping down the sweets

sumo-wrestler in Kyoto

the Gion is in flow

opened entryways

displayed family heirlooms

take a glance and leave

~

single stroke needed

slashing the rope of desires

begins matsuri
