Affection Haiku

kiss of the sunlight

the rose bushes turn scarlet

nature’s affection

~

nature’s affection

birds lunging to horizon

gentle blowing wind

~

And inspired from Kristjaan’s love haiku,

shadows of the night

hands held under the black cloak

hiding affection

~

a love is lovely

let it fly high with free wings

accept affection

To write a poem…

It takes only a moment to write a poem

only if we widen our mind’s horizon-

see through those dark spaces

no one ever cared to look,

pass through those lonely streets,

reaching that limit

where you are alone

but not yet so,

where everything is confusing

but you understand it all.

The Choice is Mine

the moment the impalpable fruit comes up on the horizon

the nightly spots of light attract me, asking me to fade away with them that time

the choice is mine whether-

I want to be a seed of the sweet rising fruit or

the shine of the fading spots of night light.
