Inspired Inscriptions

on one wheel cycle,

the string of life in her hands,

she breathes in the air,

a wish embedded in heart,

to find her way flying away

.

a flute on his lips,

he summons nightly spirits,

the moon awakens

along with nocturnal beasts

in trance of the magic weaved

.

tying her new-print cape,

she journeys through the planet,

looking for a dream,

spectacles perched on her nose,

mulling over her tabloid

Compassion Haiku

fluttering white wings

tears of love shed on the beings

a rain-angel smiles

a rain-angel smiles

compassion for the earthlings

makes everything right

 ~

makes everything right

colors splatter on the sky

happiness abounds

 ~

happiness abounds

her compassionate smiling

reverent heads bow

 ~

reverent heads bow

the love spreads its wings to fly

peace ensues around

 ~

peace ensues around

compassion for each other

a happy ending

Affection Haiku

kiss of the sunlight

the rose bushes turn scarlet

nature’s affection

~

nature’s affection

birds lunging to horizon

gentle blowing wind

~

And inspired from Kristjaan’s love haiku,

shadows of the night

hands held under the black cloak

hiding affection

~

a love is lovely

let it fly high with free wings

accept affection

to purple realm

her aura I see-

essence of her life,

fruit of her soul,

flying away

to the purple realm

of truths

of electric realities,

I bend before her body

left behind,

I shed purple tears

seeing her greater self

depart

to that realm of

unknown dimensions

where she would dwell

forever after,

one day merging

with that

electric purple current

of my pain,

resting,

waiting for the ending end.

* Written for Electric Purple Prompt.

she sat on the creek’s bank

she sat on the creek’s bank

waiting for

the time to come by

whence

she could open her hair braid,

put away those restraining ornaments

and

dissolve in the waters

and flow away

to meet her destiny,

to meet

her cay.

After writing this piece, I came up with an alternate version which is like this:-

she sat on the creek’s bank

waiting for

the time to come by

whence

she could reach out the distance,

immerse herself in the waters

and

dissolve away those fears

and fly away

to meet her destiny,

to find

her way.
