I never saw the colors in fragments,
could never steal one away from another,
the red sharpens my eyes into a belief
that tomorrow will be a new sky
of blue.
I got blue shoes today, with a hint of red,
quite allowing my navy shorts to stand out,
I wonder if they would go with the green ones.
I walked into the play of the clouds and the sun,
the grey teasing the bright yellow and orange,
butterflies cross my vision, I grab invisible webs
clinging to my body, they are colorless and
out of reach.
there was a time when I used to look around for
a rainbow after the dull rains, but never could find one.
now, I know that it is everywhere, in the light,
in the shadow, in the hills, in the meadows,
it’s everywhere, this unity of our changing times.
and I wear all these colors around me at once.

I didn’t think this poem was plain. I loved the colors, the hope in this, the way you “wear” your colors. Beautiful!

Hey there amnol. I hope you have been well. As unified as a rainbow, each band of color clinging to the next, becoming more as it does. Hey if you feel comfortable wearing the colors, rock it out man. I like my flashy colors.

Ah! Beautiful. Colors signify so much – time, state of mind,- It’s a naturally beautiful analogy. My first time here, and you’ve got a new follower now, HA.

colors are magical – and each has its own special spell…. carrying them all around is a good thing and sometimes focusing on one or two makes some non-colors bright and seductive

Wow. I left the internet for a while. I am so happy to see that you are doing good. I’m myself moving along fine.
You just gave me a ton of hope, without realizing it, maybe.
Thank you so much; for the poem and for your life and for everything (:
Please tell me how you are doing and what’s new, would love to catch up. (If I don’t respond, it’s because my internet access is on and (very) off.
