missing a step,
I dropped down to awkwardness,
my cheeks flushed red, laughter lines
stretching on those walking with me,
to my fall down the sidewalk-
that was that moment’s silent reception…
Ah! I can taunt, I can be awkward but I can’t jock. I am “still” linking it up with Trifextra.
Did you notice that? Jock… Joke… Ahem! I hope you did. Awkward.

I can relate to this. I’ve tripped over my own feet so many times…
ah.. swithing between humor and poetry is a tough one.. still enjoyable..
ouch, not a fun fall in the least…and hopefully its just pride wounded a bit and not a scrape….
I loved this more than I wish I had to admit. Just last week I tripped over the power cord lighting up the display where we got our Christmas tree, and just about caused a blackout;)
Why do we always remember those embarrassing moments as well???
ooh, poor thing!I feel for the narrator-laughing matter for others biut not s9o for the one down’ 😉
Ouch! But I have to admit, I would’ve laughed. I’m so bad about that. Good one!
I do awkward like it’s a job. Thanks for the laugh!
