a land where no one sleeps,
no one ever wakes,
inundated in the petals of reverie,
encrusted with the hues of red,
each soul is profoundly embalmed
in the hymns, of requiem,
rendered by the wailing winds,
there is something about this place,
but there is nothing extraordinaire,
save, for what is felt and seen
.
This is tagged as the poem for 23 November for NaBloPoMo. I am linking it up with:

The wailing winds would entombed everything to silence ~ But I think its a matter of perspective, I find the whole scene extraordinary ~

This is quite eerie, I think…a land where no one sleeps or no one wakes, along with the wailing winds. Quite some imagery here, HA.

This poem holds such a tone of stillness. I think this place really would be instilled with a certain feeling all its own. Great read…thank you for joining today!

This photo of the place, with the boardwalk, gives it a place in the life of humanity. I love where you’ve taken it.
