the paper lanterns
float away to neverland
pure light of spirits

burning with ethereal light
stream adorned with memories

* I’m glad that Kristjaan has chosen one of my haiku for the Carpe Diem Tan Renga Session this week; complimenting the haiku are two seven-syllable lines, completing the renga.
I have always loved that tradition. It is so surreal to see it. Great words to go along…

The mystery about paper lanterns and the sea are incredible beautiful. And the reason why I say this, is because no matter how much we want to fly towards the sunset. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be to touch the sun and the ocean.
This is how I interpreted your poem here…Great writing my friend. 🙂
