Evening Rain Tan Renga

passing under the leafy willows

of a street of temples

an evening of rain

~

tiny drops tingle bare skin

child runs around in circles

* For Carpe Diem Tan Renga # 10.  The haiku is written by Shirao (1735-1792); complimenting it are my two verses of seven syllables each.

  1. What a delicious and delightful completion of the Tan Renga HA. The simplicity of the joy of children playing in the rain … wonderful … this completion brought sweet childhood memories to me. Thank you for sharing.
