New Moon Night: A 100 Word Story

“It was a black, new moon night when she arrived as the clock chimed twelve times. I was asleep in my room. And I heard a knock at my window. It seemed a dream but I finally woke up after hearing it repeatedly. My eyes were groggy but I could see, though faintly, the woman in red hovering outside. I was instantly charmed by her auburn hair blowing away and her intense eyes as she beckoned me to invite her inside.”

“And what happened next?”

“I will tell you some other time. I got to go now.” He said and died.

This is really cool! Just be aware: Trifecta requires the prompt word to be used “as is”. That means no shifting of tenses (such as making charm into charmed). Maybe you can find a way to alter it?

Yep, he’ll be hovering outside their windows next, asking to be invited in so that he can continue the tale…
