“It was a black, new moon night when she arrived as the clock chimed twelve times. I was asleep in my room. And I heard a knock at my window. It seemed a dream but I finally woke up after hearing it repeatedly. My eyes were groggy but I could see, though faintly, the woman in red hovering outside. I was instantly charmed by her auburn hair blowing away and her intense eyes as she beckoned me to invite her inside.”
“And what happened next?”
“I will tell you some other time. I got to go now.” He said and died.
*For Trifecta # 87.
That’s when you get a local necromancer and get the rest of that story.

I have to say, someone hovering outside my window at the stroke of midnight would *not* make me want to invite them in!

No one would guess. But a succubus/incubus has a seductive prowess in that regard.
Thanks for the comment.

This is really cool! Just be aware: Trifecta requires the prompt word to be used “as is”. That means no shifting of tenses (such as making charm into charmed). Maybe you can find a way to alter it?

Okay. I never knew that. Thanks for the information. I will see to it.

That last line is a bit foreboding. Also a hell of a cliff hanger.
